Love and fear are two great motivators that will decide everything you do in your life; choose wisely
Fear makes people second-guess themselves. A fear-motivated life is a lonely life. It puts you on defense mode and makes you think about yourself and what you want. Fear is a cage but faith is the key that sets us free.
“99 The echo of fear silences opportunity.”
John O’Leary
If we focus on what’s in it for us, we will not be able to see the abundance and endless possibilities in any given situation.
When you open your heart to unconditional love, you unlock a radically inspired life.
If you are patient enough, true love will reward you in ways you never thought was possible. Fear smothers your ability to make choices that will help you to live a radically inspired life. It prevents accountability by telling you the situation is not your fault. Fear keeps you from sharing who you really are and encourages you to keep up the mask.
Fear tells you to hold something back instead of going all in. Fear encourages you to blame others and wallow in victim mentality. It makes you feel it is safer to remain in your comfort zone. Fear will show you all the things that could go wrong if you decide to stretch and grow.
Fear makes you pursue success instead of significance. It tells you to focus on yourself and that we live in a dog-eat-dog world.
But you can make a different choice. You can choose to see every moment through the lens of love. Switch from saying “I have to” to saying “I want to” and see the magic that happens.
I want to clean my room has a different effect from I have to clean my room. Being motivated by love brings joy to your life. Learn to say to people: “I love you and there’s nothing you can do about it.” It may sound awkward at first but in time, you’ll get used to it. Those words allow you to focus on others, their needs, and what they are saying. It helps you pay attention to them instead of thinking about what they might take away from you.
“99 Love gives you a laserlike focus on what is truly important.”
John O’Leary
You can begin to see life through the lens of love instead of thinking of it as something reserved for just your family members and friends.
