To develop an ignition statement for yourself, answer these 3 crucial questions:

  • Why are you here?
  • Why do you want to thrive in life? Why should you give your best and pour yourself into this situation with everything you have?

Your ignition statement should begin with “Because.” Also, an ignition statement should not be designed with a specific destination in mind. The goal of an ignition statement is to help you drive indifference out of your life and move forward with purpose daily. If your “why” is to get a specific outcome, the moment you get there, you lose purpose entirely.

The mundane is the most sacred and your ignition statement helps you treat the mundane as sacred.

To live a passionate, effective life, you need to know what you are willing to risk everything that matters to you—your status, your health, your friendships, your safety, and even your life. You will live a radically inspired life only if you are willing to go all in for a purpose greater than yourself.
