Master the art of trusting and following your instincts
When you know, on your gut level, that something is the wrong thing to do, don’t do it. Don’t go when you know deep down that you should stay, or stay when you know you should go. Don’t fight when you should hold steady or hold steady when you should fight. Don’t focus on the short – term fun instead of the long – term fallout. Also, be careful not to surrender your joy for an idea you used to have about yourself that isn’t true anymore.
Everybody craves the feeling of joy but, do not seek joy at all costs. The opposite is what you end up getting if you do. You should not get driven by fear, anger, or pain either.
⚡️Stay true to your innate being. Stick to your gut and avoid making terrible decisions.
Saying it’s hard is ultimately a justification to do whatever seems like the easiest thing to do. People hide under this shield, and they have an affair, stay at a horrible job, end a friendship over the slightest altercation, keep loving someone who treats them terribly. But the truth is, every time people do dumb things, they know. They might make excuses to make themselves feel better and justify themselves but deep down, they often know they really should do better.
⚡️Learn to always trust your gut and you will see yourself do better.
